  • Bezeq Israel, Israel - Dudu Mizrahi named as CEO of Bezeq. Mizrahi, who currently serves as Deputy CEO of Tnuva, will take up his position in September 2018, and will replace the Company's CEO, Stella Handler, who will be leaving after 5 years in the position.  Bezeq is the Israel Telecommunication Corp. Ltd. provides communications services in Israel.
  • Moscow City Telephone Network, Russia - Moscow City Telephone Network has named Pavel Kuznetsov, formerly head of wholly owned Sistema subsidiary Sitronics, its new CEO. The Company provides telecommunication, Internet, and television services for individual and corporate customers in Russia.
  • Ellies Holdings, South Africa - Ellies Holdings appointed Shaun Prithivirajh as the CEO. Shaun was the Group CEO for GloCell for the last two years.  The Company engages in the manufacture, import, and distribution of television (TV) and video equipment-related products, and satellite and associated equipment in South Africa.
  • asknet, Germany - Sergey Skatershchikov, the CFO of asknet AG, was appointed the CEO. The Company provides e-commerce solutions for the electronic distribution of digital and physical goods worldwide.
  • RedstoneConnect Plc, United Kingdom - Mark Braund, CEO of the Company, has notified of his intention to step down. Frank Beechinor, currently Non-executive Chairman of RedstoneConnect, will assume the role of CEO.  The Company provides software, technology, and services in the smart buildings and commercial spaces market in the United Kingdom.
  • Magal Security Systems, Israel - Magal Security Systems appointed Mr. Dror Sharon as CEO, the former CEO at Controp Precision Technology. The Company develops, manufactures, markets, and sells perimeter intrusion detection sensors, physical barriers, video analytics and video management systems, and cyber security products and systems worldwide.
  • Net Insight AB, Sweden - Interim CEO Henrik Sund was appointed CEO of the Company on June 1st, 2018. The Company delivers products, software and services for effective, high-quality media transport, coupled with the effective management of resources, all, which creates an enhanced TV experience.
  • Earthport Plc, United Kingdom - Earthport appointed Amanda Mesler as CEO of the Payment Service Provider. Currently, Amanda is General Manager at Microsoft, where she recently managed the Enterprise Business in Central and Eastern Europe across 33 countries. 
  • Riber S.A., France - RIBER appointed Mr. Philippe Ley as CEO and a member of the Company's Management Board. Most recently, Managing Director and a corporate officer at ERCA, a subsidiary of the IMA industrial group. From 2007 to 2015, he was Production Director, Operations Director and a Management Board member with RIBER. The Company provides molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) equipment and material evaporation sources for the semiconductor industry.
  • Eltek Ltd., Israel - Eltek appointed Eli Yaffe as its CEO. Prior the company Eli Yaffe served as the CEO of Urdan Industries Ltd. The Company manufactures, markets, and sells printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Dods Group Plc, United Kingdom – The Dods Group announced that Ex-Ticketmaster UK MD Simon Presswell will join the company as Group CEO and Executive Director. The Company a publishing company, engages in the provision of information and insights into the political and public policy environments primarily in the United Kingdom.
  • Algomi Ltd., United Kingdom - Algomi has appointed former MarketAxess EMEA COO, Scott Eaton, as CEO.  The Company develops and markets software for the fixed-income market.
  • Ingenious Technologies AG, Germany - Dr. Siamak Haschemi has been appointed CEO. Haschemi served as Managing Director of Qyotta GmbH, which was acquired by Ingenious in August 2016, and as CTO of Ingenious since May 2017. The Company develops, operates, and supports e-business and marketing technology solutions for performance-based business analytics and marketing automation.
  • LightwaveRF Plc, United Kingdom - LightwaveRF Plc appointed Jason Elliott as CEO. Currently Chief Sales Officer for Onzo Ltd, which provides energy data analytics to major utilities, and through which he has gained first-hand experience of the smart home market. The Company provides smart home automation devices in the United Kingdom, Asia, the Middle East, and rest of Europe.
  • Catenae Innovation Plc, United Kingdom - The Board announced that Tony Sanders, iCEO since September 2017, has been appointed permanent CEO of the Company. The Company provides multimedia and technology solutions primarily in the United Kingdom. It operates through two segments, Milestone, an IP business, and Oil Productions.
  • Finastra Group Holdings, United Kingdom - Finastra appointed Simon Paris as CEO. Paris, who currently serves as Finastra's Deputy CEO, will take over as CEO from Nadeem Syed as a part of a planned succession process. The Company provides financial software solutions.
  • PlusServer, Germany - Oliver Mauss became CEO of PlusHolding GmbH. Formerly Mauss held various roles within the Vodafone group, including head of the global portfolio of business clients. The Company provides managed hosting solutions to data centers.
  • Apptix, Norway - The board in Apptix ASA has appointed Jesper Jannerberg as new CEO. Jannerberg was previously the Managing Director of Evimeria EMR AB. The Company does not have significant operations. The company intends to market, rent, and sell IT based solutions and related services for businesses.
  • 4finance Group S.A., Luxembourg - 4finance Group S.A. appointed Oyvind Oanes as Group CEO. Oanes joins from Numbrs Personal Finance AG where he was CEO. The Company offers online and mobile consumer lending services.
  • MTN Ghana Ltd, Ghana - MTN Ghana appointed Selorm Adadevoh as CEO. Prior to taking up the appointment, Selorm was CEO of Digiel Group's Haitian Operation. The Company provides telecommunications services in Africa and the Middle East.
  • Elastifile, Israel - Elastifile has appointed experienced enterprise software executive Erwan Menard as its new CEO. Prior to Elastifile, Erwan was President & COO at Scality. The Company develops and delivers defined enterprise storage solution.
  • Smart Communications, United Kingdom - Smart Communications appointed James Brown as CEO. Most recently, James served as an Entrepreneur Advisor at Accel-KKR, a technology-focused private equity firm, which was an early investor in Zinc Ahead and acquired Smart Communications in 2016. The Company develops cloud-based enterprise customer and business communications software solutions.
  • Interlinked Media, United Kingdom - ImpulsePay announced that COO Adam Williams will become its new CEO.  The Company provides mobile payment services.
  • Starship Technologies, United Kingdom - Starship Technologies, moved its headquarters to San Francisco, and hired an Airbnb executive Lex Bayer as its new CEO, and landed $25 million in new funding. Bayer was previously Airbnb's head of business developments, payments and Airbnb for Business. He had been with the home-sharing giant since 2013. The Company builds of self-driving delivery robots to deliver goods locally. Its products are used to deliver parcels, groceries, and food. 
  • MACCS International BV, Netherlands - Maccs appointed George Eyles to the role of CEO. Eyles will join Maccs from his current role of Managing Director of Digital Cinema, EMEA for Deluxe Technicolor.  The Company develops legacy system software for the international film distribution industry.

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members. Vell has successfully completed numerous board member and C-level executive searches, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, and Vice Presidents - at both public and private companies.

Prior to founding the firm in 2005, Vell was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles' Technology practice for seven years.  Before her career in executive search, she worked at IBM for 11 years, managing software engineering organizations of 100 people and software sales organizations with revenues of $150 million. She has also served as an executive assistant to the CEO of IBM Canada for one year.

Vell holds seven worldwide software patents. She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
