GE Healthcare Appoints Digital Chief and General Counsel

Charles Koontz, joins GE as VP and chief digital officer for GE Healthcare. Before joining GE, Koontz served as the VP and general manager of healthcare at CSC.

Laura O'Donnell, has been appointed VP and general counsel for GE Healthcare. O’Donnell joined GE in 2009 and has held a series of leadership roles in GE Healthcare including general counsel for Global Services & Privacy and chief compliance counsel. Prior to GE, she served as chief compliance officer at Zimmer Holdings USA and was a partner at Faegre, Baker & Daniels.

TangramCare Co-Founder and CEO To Step Down From Allscripts’ Board

Anita V. Pramoda, 40, a member of the board of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, will not stand for re-election when her term expires at the company's 2016 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Pramoda is a Co-Founder of TangramCare and serves as its CEO. She serves as an Executive Advisor of Technology Crossover Ventures.

Press Ganey Holdings Announces Board Appointments        

Press Ganey Holdings, that provides patient satisfaction surveys, management reports, and national comparative databases for the integrated health care delivery system, announced that John P. Driscoll and John Glaser, PhD have been appointed to its board of directors. Driscoll is CEO and a member of the board of directors of Care Centrix.

Glaser is SVP, Population Health, at Cerner Corporation.

HMS Holdings Announces Couple of Executive Appointments       

HMS Holdings, the provider of the broadest range of cost containment solutions in the healthcare industry to help payers improve performance, named Meredith Bjorck as EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary; and David Alexander as VP, Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer. Bjorck joins the company from Tuesday Morning Corporation, where she served as SVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, responsible for establishing its first legal department.

Alexander joins HMS from Alcon Laboratories, where he served as Head, US and Canada Integrity and Compliance, and Director of Global Integrity & Compliance, Pharmaceuticals.

Omnicell Initiates Organizational Realignment to Increase Strategic and Operational Focus

Omnicell is realigning its organization to continue its growth strategy of offering differentiated products, expanding into new markets and increasing its presence through acquisitions. In the new organizational structure, Christopher Drew has been named President, North American Automation and Analytics, and Rob Seim has been named President, Global Automation and Medication Adherence. Randall A. Lipps, founder of Omnicell, continues to lead the overall business strategy of the Company in his role as Omnicell Chairman, President, and CEO.

Evolent Health Elects Michael D'Amato as Director

Evolent Health, The Advisory Board Company backed firm, elected Michael D'Amato, 61, as a director. Since June 2011, D'Amato has served as Managing Partner of Sears Road Partners. Prior to that, he served as Senior Advisor to Jeff Zients, the Federal Chief Performance Officer and Deputy Director for Management of the Office of Management and Budget, was a Founding Partner of Portfolio Logic, held various executive roles at The Advisory Board Company, including CFO, EVP and Director. Prior to joining The Advisory Board Company, he held various roles at the management consulting firm Bain & Company, including Senior Partner.

Robert W. Musslewhite, 45, gave notice of his resignation as a member of board of directors. Musslewhite serves as chairman and CEO of The Advisory Board Company.

Castlight Health Announces Resignation of SAP Exec from Board  

S. Steven Singh, 54, a member of the Board of healthcare information company Castlight Health, resigns from the Board. Singh is leaving the Board to focus on his expanded commitments to SAP SE, where he is Head of The Business Network Group & Member of Executive Board. He joined SAP as part of SAP s acquisition of Concur in December 2014. He has been CEO of Concur Technologies since 1996 and its Chairman since 1999.

Streamline Health Solutions Appoints SVP and Chief Growth Officer from Influence Health

Streamline Health Solutions, the provider of transformational data-driven solutions for healthcare organizations, appointed Shaun Priest as SVP and Chief Growth Officer. Priest was most recently SVP of Strategic Accounts & Business Development at Influence Health, where he worked directly with their client base of over 1,000 hospitals.

Certive Solutions Hires Chief Internal Legal Counsel

Certive Solutions, the cloud provider of claims audit and recovery solutions in the revenue cycle management solutions to United States’ hospitals, appointed Michael Miller as Chief Internal Legal Counsel. Miller has nearly 40 years' experience in the legal profession serving as General Counsel to a major medical enterprise. He also served in senior management capacities for risk management firms and international insurance brokers and created environmental insurance programs for large investment banks. Miller has been retained by state insurance regulators to consult in insurance company receiverships.

EMS Find Announces Board Resignations    

EMS Find announced that, upon termination of his term as a director, Daniel Grillo resigned as a director of the company, and Johnny Falcones resigned as a director of the company and was appointed the CEO and a director of Black River in connection with the sale of the Viva Entertainment subsidiary to Black River Petroleum Corp.

Greenway Health Announces CEO Changes 

Greenway Health, the vendor for Healthcare IT and revenue cycle services, named Scott Zimmerman its new CEO. Zimmerman succeeds Tee Green, co-founder and former CEO of the company, will remain in a full-time role as executive chairman. Prior to joining the company, Zimmerman was president of TeleVox. He has also held positions at Merck, Boston Scientific and GE Healthcare.

Sharecare Appoints its First EVP of Enterprise and Board Member  

Health and wellness engagement platform Sharecare has appointed health industry veterans Howard Gruverman and Ken Goulet to scale the company's rapidly growing employer business. With nearly 30 years serving the benefits industry and a focus on healthcare delivery systems, Gruverman has been appointed Sharecare's first EVP of enterprise; and Goulet will apply his more than 35 years of experience growing and leading large health plan organizations on Sharecare's board of directors. To join Sharecare, Gruverman departs Wells Fargo as its SVP of national accounts.

Most recently EVP of Commercial and Specialty Business Division at Anthem, Goulet brings another important dimension to Sharecare's seasoned board of directors.

Millennium Health Appoints its Chairman and Former EDS CEO to Combined Chair/CEO Roles

Provider of personalized medicine counsel and targeted health solutions, Millennium Health, named Chairman Ronald A. Rittenmeyer to Chairman and CEO. Rittenmeyer will replace Brock Hardaway who has led the company since 2013. Rittenmeyer has an extensive background leading companies to profitable growth and market leadership. He is the retired chairman, president and CEO of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) having successfully sold that company to Hewlett Packard in 2008. Prior to joining Millennium Health's Board, he served as chairman, president and CEO of Expert Global Solutions.

Healthwise Appoints Former Exec as New CEO      

The Healthwise board of directors named Robert (Bob) Kyte to be the next CEO of the health content and patient education solutions company. Kyte will succeed founder and CEO Donald W. Kemper upon his retirement. Kyte returns to Healthwise after spending the last six years as president of the nonprofit Adventist Risk Management. He was also president and CEO of GENCON Insurance Company, an affiliate of Adventist Risk Management.

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members. Vell has successfully completed numerous board member and C-level executive searches, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, and Vice Presidents - at both public and private companies.

Prior to founding the firm in 2005, Vell was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles' Technology practice for seven years.  Before her career in executive search, she worked at IBM for 11 years, managing software engineering organizations of 100 people and software sales organizations with revenues of $150 million. She has also served as an executive assistant to the CEO of IBM Canada for one year.

Vell holds seven worldwide software patents. She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
