Cisco to Go Through CFO Change Early Next Year 

Cisco’s EVP and CFO Frank Calderoni, 57, is stepping down from his role early next year, after six years on the job. Calderoni joined Cisco from QLogic in 2004, initially serving as SVP for customer solutions finance. In QLogic he served as VP and CFO, and before that he was CFO and SVP of Finance and Administration of SanDisk. Earlier, he served as a VP of Finance and Operations of Global Small Business of IBM, spending 21 years at the company.

Kelly A. Kramer, 46, the company’s SVP, Corporate Finance, will replace him. Kramer joined Cisco in early 2012 from over 20 years with General Electric.
Most recently Kramer was VP and CFO of GE's Healthcare Systems business.  Prior to that, Kramer had other CFO roles including CFO of GE Healthcare Biosciences, a division in Life Sciences and Molecular Diagnostics.  Kramer also held various leadership positions within GE's Corporate Headquarters, Transportation Systems and Aerospace divisions.

Dora Vell

She has published several Business of Leadership reports on governance and leadership and has been quoted in numerous articles including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week, Fortune, Agenda Week, MSNBC, Mass High Tech, the OPUS for the World Economic Forum, Boston Business Journal, The Globe & Mail, CIO Magazine, and IEEE. She also has been a featured speaker on leadership at numerous conferences and at Columbia University's MBA program.

Vell is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Boston CEO Roundtable. She has served on the boards of Framingham State, Entrepreneur's Organization, Goodwill, Mary Centre for developmentally handicapped adults, garage.ca, and RBC Capital Partners.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
