Kraft Foods’ CFO Joins Microsoft’s Board

Kraft Foods’ EVP and CFO Teri List-Stoll, 51, is joining as board member of Microsoft. List-Stoll joined Kraft in September 2013 as SVP leading the business unit finance teams.  She was appointed CFO in the end of 2013. She came to Kraft after nearly 20 years at Procter & Gamble, where she most recently served as SVP and Treasurer.  She started with P&G in 1994 and prior to that, was a fellow with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and spent six years at Deloitte & Touche, providing financial counsel to large multinational companies.

Hewlett-Packard to Split into Two Companies – HP, Inc. and HP Enterprise; Board Changes Announced

Hewlett-Packard plans to break in two, separating its printing and personal systems businesses from its corporate hardware and services operations. The company will cut another 5,000 jobs in the process of carrying out the breakup.
Meg Whitman, 57, is slated to be chairman of the PC and printer business, to be known as HP Inc., and CEO of the other company, to be called Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.

Whitman is a former part-time strategic advisor to Kleiner, Perkins, Caulfield & Byers; former President and CEO of eBay; and held executive-level positions at Hasbro, FTD, The Stride Rite Corporation, Walt Disney, and Bain. Whitman also serves as a director of Procter & Gamble.

Current lead independent director Patricia Russo, 62, will be chairman of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Russo is former CEO of Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to the merger of Alcatel and Lucent in 2006, she served as Chairman and CEO of Lucent Technologies and before that, as the company’s President and CEO. Russo is currently a director of Alcoa, General Motors, KKR Management LLC and Merck & Co.

Iron Mountain Appoints Former Roche Exec as New Board Member

Jennifer Allerton, 62, was appointed to the board of directors of Iron Mountain. Most recently, Allerton served as CIO at Roche from 2002 to 2012 with responsibility for IT strategy and operations for the Pharma division and all Group IT operations. Prior to Roche, she served as Technology Director at Barclaycard for three years. Currently, Allerton serves as an independent director on the boards of Oxford Instruments, a provider of high technology tools and systems and Aveva Group, an engineering design and information management solutions firm for plant, power and marine industries.

Dora Vell

Vell is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Boston CEO Roundtable. She has served on the boards of Framingham State, Entrepreneur's Organization, Goodwill, Mary Centre for developmentally handicapped adults,, and RBC Capital Partners.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
