Qlik Technologies announced that Deborah Hopkins, chief innovation officer of Citi, has joined its board of directors as an independent officer, becoming its eighth member. She also serves as Chairman of Citi's venture capital initiatives. Since joining Citi in 2003, Ms. Hopkins' previous positions included Chief Operations and Technology Officer, and head of Corporate Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Citi, Ms. Hopkins was CFO at Boeing and CFO at Lucent Technologies.

Qlik Technologies announced that Les Bonney has been promoted to its newly created COO position. Mr. Bonney will continue to report to QlikTech CEO Lars Bjork and will continue to have responsibility for all global sales and field operations for the company. Prior to joining QlikTech, Mr. Bonney served as SVP and GM EMEA markets of StreamServe, a document management company. Mr. Bonney is also formerly a VP, EMEA for Siebel Systems where he successfully managed the business from startup to a market leader. Prior to Siebel, he was VP and GM for Oracle Corp.
AsiaInfo-Linkage announced that the Company's COO, Dr. Xiwei Huang will resign from his managerial post. His chief responsibilities of internal IT, quality management, project control and contract management will be distributed among several senior executives, including the Company's CFO, Michael Wu.

LivePerson announced that Daniel Murphy will join the Company as its CFO. Mr. Murphy joins LivePerson from Conductor, Inc. a maker of a widely used SEO platform for enterprises. He previously served as CFO of Marketing Technology Solutions (MTS). Prior to that, Mr. Murphy served for 13 years at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters), a leading global information services company.
Sales & Marketing Placements
Mich Mathews, the head of Microsoft's powerful marketing organization and one of Steve Ballmer's trusted lieutenants, is leaving the company after 22 years. Mathews controlled all of Microsoft's marketing and public relations efforts for most of its history, including its multibillion dollar advertising budget. Mathews has been on Microsoft's Senior Leadership Team for years, and is one of only two women on the team, along with HR head Lisa Brummel. Mathews told AdAge that she's leaving in the summer, after she helps Microsoft complete a transition to ad agency Starcom Mediavest for all its U.S. advertising buying.
Microsoft announced that it has appointed Chris Capossela to CMO and SVP of Consumers Channels and Central Marketing Group. Mr. Capossela is replacing Mich Mathews. Capossela, a one-time Bill Gate's speech assistant, has been with Microsoft for 20 years, and previously served as SVP in the Microsoft Office Division. He was instrumental in bringing Microsoft Office into the cloud with Office Web Apps and Office 365.
IntraLinks, a company devoted to making sure high volumes of confidential information travel comfortably online, announced the appointment of Tony Kender as EVP, global sales. Kender has held several prominent leadership positions with large technology companies, most recently SAP America where he was national VP, edge product sales. Previously, Kender spent 10 years with Oracle where his positions included SVP, SMB global business unit, and SVP, applications global sales strategy.
Openwave Systems announced the appointment of John Charters as SVP of worldwide sales replacing Alan Park. Openwave provides software and services used by telecom network operators to give their customers wireless access to a variety of content and applications.
QAD announced the appointment of Michael Blough to SVP, Global Strategic Accounts. Blough joins QAD with more than 12 years of executive-level experience in global sales, marketing, and channel and business development. He has extensive experience in enterprise applications, having served most recently with SAP America, Inc. as Regional VP, where he led the automotive industry business unit for seven years, and five years as Director of Sales and Global Account Executive.
QAD announced the appointment of Anton Chilton to SVP, Global Services. He held the dual role of SVP of Global Services and Global Strategic Accounts prior to Blough's appointment. Additionally, he has served as Managing Director, QAD Australia and Services Director, QAD Asia-Pacific.
