He has also held senior leadership positions at Concentra Preferred Systems, UnitedHealthcare and Aetna.
WebMD Appoints Communications Chief from Bausch + Lomb
WebMD named Adam Grossberg to the newly created role of Chief Communications Officer. Grossberg will lead the management of the Company's brand, reputation and strategic communications activities. He joins WebMD from Bausch + Lomb where he was VP of Global Communications. MedAssets Names Leader for Revenue Cycle Management Segment
Healthcare performance improvement company MedAssets appointed Amy Dellamora Amick as president of its revenue cycle management (RCM) segment. She was most recently COO for M*Modal. Before that, she was a general manager, worldwide services with Microsoft, where she was responsible for customer-facing functions across Microsoft's Health Solutions Group. McLaren Health Care Hires New CIO
Health network McLaren Health Care has named Ron Strachan as CIO to manage system-wide IT functions. With nearly 30 years of experience, Strachan most recently served as network CIO for Community Network Health, a non-profit health system with more than 200 sites of care and affiliates throughout central Indiana. Additionally, Strachan has held similar positions at WellStar Health System; HealthEast Care System; Matria Healthcare; and Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
CareCloud Appoints CFO from Aprima Medical Software
R. Scott Lentz, former CFO of Aprima Medical Software, has been named CFO at CareCloud, a provider of cloud-based EHR, medical billing and practice management software and services. Prior to Aprima Medical Software, he was CFO at PracticeOne and Picis, as well as COO of Streamline. Throughout his career, Lentz raised more than $200 million in institutional capital to fund organic and acquisitive growth, led the procurement and sale of several companies and registered another (Picis) for an IPO. He is currently an advisory board member to WorkersCount and Cyber Holdings. Lentz began his career in the military, serving six years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard.

John de Souza, CEO and founder of MedHelp, an online health community and health app website, has been named to the board of directors at Physicians Interactive Holdings, a provider of mobile and online clinical tools. Prior to MedHelp, he was a VP at Goldman Sachs, managing the Technology Practice of the Private Equity Group. He was a co-founder and director of Smartleaf, a financial software company providing separate account management solutions. Prior to that, he was the VP of Business Development and Marketing at DESoFT, a company that developed online real-time brokerage systems for retail brokerage firms which was sold to Merrill Lynch. He was a co-founder of Flash Communications, an Internet company (sold to Microsoft) that developed real-time two way messaging systems. He also performed research on guidance systems for robotic surgery at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, virtual reality systems for NASA's Neurolab Space Project, and tools for laparoscopic surgery at the University of Tokyo.

Mason Russell, an internationally known health economist and senior health services research leader, has joined Truven Health Analytics as VP of strategic consulting. Russell comes to Truven Health from inVentiv Health, where he provided global scientific leadership and management in health economics and outcomes research for the Clinical division. Prior to joining inVentiv Health, he served as head of health economics at RTI Health Solutions and as a VP of Abt Bio-Pharma Solutions.
