Seagate's Online Backup & Cloud Storage Subsidiary Appoints Marketing Head for Europe

EVault, a Seagate company involved in Online Backup & Cloud Storage Services, appointed Aad Dekkers as its Director of Marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to joining EVault, Dekkers served as CMO at MTI Europe, where he was responsible for marketing, business development, strategy, and acquisitions in Europe. Previously, he held positions like Director Products, Solutions & Alliances Marketing EMEA at NetApp, Sr. Manager Product Marketing EMEA at NetApp, Manager Product Marketing at Sun Microsystems, Product Marketing Manager at Tulip Computers International, Support Desk Manager at IPC Benelux, and Technical Support Engineer at ICL Benelux.

Teradata’s Cloud-Based Marketing Solutions Subsidiary Appoints Exec to Grow Cloud Services

Aprimo, a Teradata company which provides integrated marketing software, named Robin Fleming as its new VP of Cloud Services. Fleming, who was previously VP of Product Quality and Operations, will expand cloud services to new Aprimo applications and further improve the efficiency of cloud offerings for Aprimo customers. Prior to joining Aprimo in 2011, Fleming directed configuration management, release management and overall product quality at Match.com as Director QA and Configuration Management. She has also held positions like Director Quality Assurance and Technical Publications at Worksoft, Director Customer Quality Management at i2 Technologies and QA Manager at USDATA.

Limelight Networks appoints CMO from F5 Networks

Limelight Networks, integrated cloud-based applications and content delivery network provider, appointed Kirby Wadsworth as CMO. In this newly created position, he will responsible for brand development, demand generation, marketing services, and corporate communications. Prior to joining Limelight, Wadsworth held the position of VP, Global Marketing for F5 Networks, where he was instrumental in transforming the company from technology to solutions and ultimately to strategic marketing. Mr. Wadsworth also served as SVP, Marketing and Business Development at Acopia Networks (acquired by F5), SVP, Marketing and Business Development at Revivio (acquired by Symantec), Founder/VP Marketing at Storability (acquired by StorageTek), General Manager / VP Marketing at Compaq (acquired by HP) and VP Marketing at Digital Equipment Corporation (acquired by Compaq).

Changes on ChinaCache’s Board

China based ChinaCache International Holdings, the provider Internet content and application delivery services, appointed Michael Ricks, 49, to board, as Director Paul Jin-Hwee Choo, 43, resigns. Michael Ricks has served as the Managing Director and CEO of Investor Growth Capital Asia and served concurrently as a Managing Director for Investor Growth Capital. Prior to that, he served as CEO of imGO, a Hong Kong based company that focused on technology investments. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Ericsson China.

Paul Jin-Hwee Choo serves as the Chief Representative and VP in charge of Greater China investments of Investor Growth Capital Asia. Prior to that, he was VP of EDB Investments, the investment arm of the Singapore Economic Development Board

Information Architects Corporation Names former AIG Executive as CEO

Information Architects Corporation, the content delivery services company, named former AIG executive J. Russel Dorsett as its new Chairman & CEO. Mr. Dorsett will be primarily responsible for implementing Information Architects' aggressive new growth strategy, including the integration of new business strategies and initiatives which are already in progress. Mr. Dorsett will also be responsible for identifying and expanding additional new business ventures for IACH. Mr. Dorsett is currently a director at Veris Settlement Partners. He also is the co-owner of Select Life Settlement Corporation. Previously he has served as the Managing Director and CEO from of American International Assurance, Australia (AIA) - the former Australian division of insurance giant AIG. He also served as President and Director for Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA).

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members. Vell has successfully completed numerous board member and C-level executive searches, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, and Vice Presidents - at both public and private companies.

Prior to founding the firm in 2005, Vell was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles' Technology practice for seven years.  Before her career in executive search, she worked at IBM for 11 years, managing software engineering organizations of 100 people and software sales organizations with revenues of $150 million. She has also served as an executive assistant to the CEO of IBM Canada for one year.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
