Polycom Appoints Former Electronic Arts CFO
Polycom announced that Eric Brown, 46, has been appointed as CFO, COO, and EVP. Most recently, Brown served as CFO & EVP at Electronic Arts, the world's leading publisher of video game software. Prior to joining EA, he served as COO & CFO at McAfee. Before McAfee, he was the CFO of MicroStrategy, a business intelligence software provider. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Electronics for Imaging.
Chairman Retires from Security Equipment Maker
Telular announced that its Chairman Larry Ford, 70, has retired from the company. He has been a Director on the Board since 1994. Most recently, Ford served as SVP & President at ADC Telecommunications. Prior to ADC, he was the CEO of Information Advantage and Chairman & CEO at Systems Software Associates. Ford began his career at IBM, where he most recently served as the VP of Information & Telecommunications Systems. Currently, he serves on the Board of Cytonics, a private biotech firm.

Cig Wireless has appointed Paul McGinn as CEO. Most recently, he was the Founder & President of TCP Consultants, a firm specializing in wireless applications. Before founding TCP, McGinn was the Director of Acquisitions at SBA Communications.
