SAP Announces Newly Expanded Responsibilities of Key Executives    

Robert Enslin and Bernd Leukert will shift and expand their portfolios as members of the Executive Board of SAP. The Supervisory Board of SAP has named Adaire Fox-Martin and Jennifer Morgan to the Executive Board. In addition, two new leadership assignments were announced for current EMEA President Franck Cohen and SAP Cloud Platform President Bjoern Goerke. Cohen will become chief commercial officer and Goerke CTO.

The Supervisory Board has asked Robert Enslin, head of Global Customer Operations, to be president of the new Cloud Business Group. He will oversee SAP® Ariba®, SAP Fieldglass®, Concur®, SAP SuccessFactors®, and SAP Hybris® solutions as well as the SMB Solutions Group organization.

Bernd Leukert, head of Products & Innovation at SAP, will expand his portfolio to accelerate SAP's platform and digital transformation strategy.

Adaire Fox-Martin will oversee EMEA and Greater China.

Jennifer Morgan will oversee the Americas and Asia-Pacific-Japan regions.

As chief commercial officer, Franck Cohen will lead SAP's channel business as well as assume responsibility for all sales processes and go-to-market initiatives across SAP.

As CTO, Bjoern Goerke will advance the company's technology strategy and serve as a key external spokesperson.

Steve Singh, president of Business Networks and Applications, will leave SAP at the end of this month. Singh collaborated closely with Enslin, and together they transitioned Concur solutions into the SAP product family.

Adobe Appoints Head of Marketing for India Business

Adobe appointed Sunder Madakshira as the Head of Marketing for its India business. In his most recent assignment, he was heading the marketing division at EdgeVerve Systems, the product subsidiary of Infosys. Over the last two decades, Madakshira has had a strong track record working with some of the big brands in India including SAP, Wipro, Hindustan Unilever and VISA.  

Red Hat Appoints Acting CFO to the Role Permanently

Red Hat announced that Eric Shander has been named the company’s EVP and CFO. Shander most recently served as Red Hat’s acting CFO, and VP and chief accounting officer.

CA Hires GM of Global Services and Education from AppDynamics

CA Technologies announced addition of Billy O’Riordan as general manager of Global Services and Education. O’Riordan joins CA from AppDynamics, where he was responsible for the successful delivery of the company’s global services. Prior to AppDynamics, O’Riordan spent six years at BMC where he led their professional and education services across EMEA and APJ regions.

ANSYS Appoints SAP Exec for BD and Corporate Marketing

Computer-aided engineering software developer ANSYS is bolstering its executive team by appointing industry veteran Matthew Zack as its VP of business development and corporate marketing. Zack joins the company from SAP, where his most recent role was senior corporate development executive. Previously, Zack served as the EVP and CFO of Ariba. 

Amy Chang to Step Down from Splunk Board    

Amy Chang, founder/CEO of Accompany, will not stand for re-election to the Board of Directors of Splunk. She was appointed to the Splunk board in March 2015.

Jack Henry & Associates Appoints CEO to Board

Jack Henry & Associates announced that, President and CEO David Foss, 55, was appointed to the Board of Directors. He was named President of ProfitStars in 2004, President of Jack Henry and Associates in 2014, and CEO in 2016.

SS&C Technologies’ Board Member to Step Down

William A. Etherington, 75, provided notice of his intent to retire as a director of SS&C Technologies Holdings. He is former CEO and President of IBM World Trade Corporation and SVP and Group Executive of Sales and Distribution at IBM.

Sabre Names SVP of Global Distribution System and Corporate Travel Business in EMEA

Sabre Corporation has named Roshan Mendis as SVP of its global distribution system (GDS) and corporate travel business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to his current role, he served as president of Travelocity and Zuji, both consumer-facing brands that were part of the Sabre portfolio. He will relocate from Singapore to London.

Oracle Financial Services Software Appoints Oracle Assistant General Counsel as Director

Oracle Financial Services Software named Kimberly Woolley as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director of the company. Woolley is Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Oracle.

EPAM Systems Appoints CFO and Principal Accounting Officer

Jason Peterson will join EPAM, and will succeed Anthony Conte as CFO. Peterson joins EPAM with 25-years of finance experience and, for the last nine years, was employed by Cognizant Technology Solutions.

EPAM Systems appointed Gary Abrahams, 49, as the company's Principal Accounting Officer. He joined EPAM in June of 2016 as VP and Corporate Controller, after having served as an independent contractor for EPAM starting in March of 2016. He has over 25 years’ experience in global corporate financial management and “Big Four" public accounting firms.

Tech Data Combines Chair-CEO Roles; Names Booz Allen Hamilton EVP to Board

Chairman Steven A. (Steve) Raymund has informed the board of directors that he will not stand for reelection as a board member and will retire as chairman of the board at the end of his term. Tech Data CEO and board member Robert M. (Bob) Dutkowsky will be appointed chairman of the board following Raymund’s retirement, and Charles E. (Eddie) Adair will continue in his role as lead independent director. 

Dutkowsky joined Tech Data in October 2006 as CEO and a member of the company’s board of directors. Since joining the company, he has overseen Tech Data’s strategic growth into new markets, including the data center, cloud, and mobility, as well as new geographies.

Tech Data Corporation announced the nomination of Karen Dahut for appointment to the company's Board of Directors. Dahut serves as an EVP at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she leads the firm's Civil Commercial Group (CCG) and is a member of the Executive Management committee. Prior to that, Dahut was an officer in the U.S. Navy and served as the comptroller for the Navy's premier biomedical research institute.

Pegasystems Names New VP Chief Commercial Officer and General Counsel

Pegasystems has appointed Matt Cushing as VP, chief commercial officer, and general counsel. Previous roles include general counsel at energy management technology firm EnerNOC, and general counsel at Acme Packet prior to its acquisition by Oracle. He was previously a partner at Bingham McCutchen, a global, Boston-based law firm where he provided legal and business counsel to publicly traded companies in the technology space.

CACI Gets New COO from Within Ranks

CACI International announced that John Mengucci, the Company's COO and President of U.S. Operations, will take on an expanded role as COO. The company also appointed DeEtte Gray as President of U.S. Operations. Most recently, he was President of the Intelligence & Security Sector for BAE Systems.

Cloudera Announces New Board Members

Cloudera announced the appointments of Kim Hammonds, Member of the Management Board and Group COO at Deutsche Bank, and Mike Stankey, Vice Chairman of Workday to the Cloudera board of directors. 

Verint Systems Appoints Penelope Herscher to Board

Verint Systems appointed Penelope Herscher to the Board. She has over 15 years of experience as a high-tech CEO and over 10 years serving on public company boards. She currently sits on the boards of Lumentum Operations and Rambus Corporation.

Sequoia Capital Partner to Retire from FireEye’s Board

William M. Coughran Jr., 63, notified FireEye of his decision to not stand for re-election to the company's Board. His decision to not stand for re-election was due to increased time commitments related to other endeavors and did not involve any disagreement with the company. He has served as a member of the Board since July 2012. He has been a Partner of Sequoia Capital since October 2011.

Cornerstone OnDemand Appoints Couple of New Directors

Cornerstone OnDemand reported that Steffan Tomlinson, CFO for Palo Alto Networks, and Dean Carter, VP of HR and shared services for Patagonia, have been elected to Cornerstone's board of directors. 

New Relic Announces Senior Executive Changes

Digital performance monitoring and management company New Relic announced that President Hilarie Koplow-McAdams has decided to retire later this year, capping off her remarkable almost 30-year career in software technology. Lew Cirne, CEO and founder will continue to oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, in addition to increasing his involvement with the go-to-market organization. In a newly expanded role, current EVP, Enterprise Sales, Erica Ruliffson Schultz will now lead the entire global sales organization as EVP, Worldwide Sales. 

CyberArk Appoints Marianne Budnik as CMO

Security software company CyberArk appointed Marianne Budnik as CMO. Budnik brings deep experience to CyberArk, having led creative, impactful global marketing strategies at SimpliVity (acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise), Acme Packet (acquired by Oracle) and CA Technologies.

Coupa Software Announces Management Changes

Cloud-based spend management software company Coupa Software named Anthony Tiscornia as the Company's principal accounting officer. Todd Ford, the Company's CFO, previously served as principal accounting officer and will continue to serve as principal financial officer. Tiscornia, has served as its VP, Finance & Controller since March 2015 and served as Controller earlier. 

Coupa Software announced that Washington, DC-based federal sector expert Andrew “Andy” Malay has joined company as regional VP for the U.S. Federal Government marketplace. Malay brings with him more than two decades of proven experience in the federal market where he has worked as a sales executive and business leader for companies such as IBM, SAP America and Manugistics. 

Progress Appoints New CFO and CTO 

Paul Jalbert, chief accounting officer, has been named as CFO. Jalbert has been chief accounting officer since joining the company in August 2012. As CFO, Jalbert replaces Kurt Abkemeier, who will leave the company.

Progress appointed Dmitri Tcherevik to the role of CTO. In his new role, Dmitri will lead Progress’ technology vision, strategy and evolution across the entire portfolio of Progress products. This includes driving incubation projects, contributing to product roadmaps, working on technology M&A and partnership opportunities. Dmitri will also evangelize the company’s core product strategy and cognitive-first perspectives to the market.

Callidus Software Announces Marketing Leadership Alterations

Callidus Software promoted CMO Giles House to Chief Product Officer, and appointed Andres Botero as SVP and CMO. Prior to CallidusCloud, Andres was CMO at Aria Systems, where he doubled sales pipelines and reduced marketing spend.

Talend Names Executive Officers

Real-Time open source big data integration software company Talend announced that General Counsel Aaron Ross, has been named as an executive officer of the company. Aaron Ross has served has the company's General Counsel since August 2015. 

Ciaran Dynes, the company's current SVP of Product, has been named as an executive officer of the company. Dyne joined Talend in 2011 as Director of Product Management and was promoted to VP of Product in 2013.

Hortonworks Appoints CMO from Palo Alto Networks

Hortonworks appointed Frank Mong as CMO. Mong was previously SVP of product, industry and solutions for Palo Alto Networks. Prior to that, he was VP and GM of solutions for the HP Enterprise Security Products organization and held senior leadership roles at Silver Spring Networks, Trend Micro, Symantec and SonicWALL.

Bottomline Technologies Appoints AmEx CFO as Director

Payments firm Bottomline Technologies appointed Paul H. Hough to its Board of Directors. Hough is EVP and Deputy CFO for American Express. 

Co-Founder Cinta Putra Intends to Retire from the Board of Everbridge

Cinta Putra, co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of Everbridge informed the Board of her intention to retire from the Board. Putra Co-Founded Everbridge in 2002 and served as its CFO and SVP of Business Operations since September 2011 until November 2014. She served as the CEO at Everbridge since November 2002 until September 2011.

FARO Technologies Witnesses Finance Executive Shuffles

Janet D’Anjou, FARO Technologies's VP and Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, was appointed to a new position with the company as VP, Finance and Corporate Development. 

Concurrent with this appointment, Stephen Bubar was appointed as the company’s VP and Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. He previously served as Senior Director, Financial Reporting of Masimo Corporation, as Director, Financial Reporting and as Assistant Controller.

Basware Appoints New SVPs for Future Growth

BasWare, a Finnish software company selling enterprise software for financial processes, appointed Jussi Vasama as SVP, Customer Services and as a member of the Executive Team at Basware. Jussi Vasama is currently the Country Manager for Basware Finland and VP, Customer Services Northeast Europe and APAC regions at Basware. 

Mikko Pilkama has been appointed as SVP, Network and Financing Services and as a member of the Executive Team. Prior to Basware, Pilkama was VP, Banking Services at CGI. Prior to CGI, he has held senior executive positions at Nets, Luottokunta and Nokia.

Carbonite Announces Board Changes

Carbonite, cloud and hybrid backup service provider, announced the election of Marina Levinson, with more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience, as new member of its Board of Directors. Levinson will hold office until 2020, succeeding Jeff Flowers, who co-founded Carbonite in 2005 and retired from the Board after 12 years of service. After serving as the CIO of NetApp and Palm, Levinson founded and is the CEO of CIO Advisory Group.

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members.
