Silicon Valley Veteran becomes President and COO

Bob Smith, a Silicon Valley Veteran, joined the team as President and Chief Operating Officer, and Patrick Harding, VP and Security Architect at Fidelity Investments, joined the team as VP of Technology. The addition of these executives brings seasoned leadership and enterprise-level expertise to Ping's already strong management team. Mr. Smith leverages his more than 20 years of software sales and executive management experience to oversee all of Ping's sales, marketing and operations. Prior to Ping Identity, Mr. Smith was President and CEO of Aligo. Under Mr. Smith's leadership at Aligo, the company doubled its revenue year over year and innovated on new products in the mobile software space. Nearly 250,000 end users now use Aligo products worldwide. Prior to Aligo, Mr. Smith was president and CEO of Harmony Software Inc., a business performance management software provider. Prior to Harmony, Mr. Smith was vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Be Inc. where he helped conclude the company's IPO.
