From 1995 to 2010, Murphy held a range of positions with SunGard, repeatedly promoted from sales executive positions into top management. Exceeding targets and expectations, he ultimately served as CEO of the Brokerage and Clearance segment of the business. While CEO of this division, one of the largest of ten business segments within SunGard, Murphy was responsible for $350 million in sales revenue and 1,200 employees worldwide.
Prior to tenure at SunGard, Murphy was with Fidelity Investments/National Financial Services Corp. for four years. He began his career at Legg Mason Wood Walker in Boston.
Mr. Murphy holds a BS in Economics from St. Michael’s College.
