General Electric CTO Mark Little, 59, will retire at the end of the year after 37 years of dedicated service and leadership to GE. He was named CTO in 2005 and has led Global Research through a decade of global expansion and the launch of signature initiatives such as the Industrial Internet and Brilliant Factory.
Comcast Promotes Myrna Soto as New Global CISO
Comcast promoted Myrna Soto to SVP, Global CISO. Prior to this appointment, Soto served as SVP, Chief Infrastructure and Information Security Officer (CIISO) within Engineering & Platform Services for Comcast Cable. Soto, who joined Comcast in 2009, has more than 25 years of information security and technology leadership experience in a number of industries, including financial services, hospitality, insurance/risk management and gaming/entertainment.
Visa Adds Brocade's CEO as Director
Visa elected Lloyd A. Carney, 53, as a new independent director. Carney is CEO and a director of networking communications company Brocade since January 2013. Prior to Brocade, he was CEO and a director of Xsigo Systems, an IT and hardware company; CEO and chairman of Micromuse, a networking management software company, acquired by IBM; and held senior leadership roles at Juniper Networks, Nortel Networks and Bay Networks.
Microsoft Appoints its Former President of Office Division as New EVP of Corporate Strategy and Planning
Microsoft named Kurt DelBene, 54, as EVP of Corporate Strategy and Planning reporting to CEO Satya Nadella. DelBene is returning to Microsoft, where he was most recently president of the Microsoft Office Division. After leaving Microsoft in 2013, he then served as senior advisor to the Secretary of Health and Human Services where he was appointed by President Obama to oversee implementation and improvement of Healthcare.gov. He most recently has been a venture partner at Madrona Venture Group, concentrating on investing and advising in early stage, technology-focused startups in the Pacific Northwest.

Visa CEO and Kraft Foods’ CFO Join Microsoft’s Board; Couple of Long-Time Directors Leave
Visa’s CEO Charles W. Scharf, 49, and Kraft Foods’ EVP and CFO Teri List-Stoll, 51, are joining as board members of Microsoft. Scharf has served as CEO and a director of Visa since November 2012. Previously, he was a Managing Director of One Equity Partners, the private investment arm of JPMorgan Chase, CEO of Retail Financial Services at JPMorgan Chase, CEO of the retail division of Bank One Corporation, CFO of Bank One, CFO of the Global Corporate and Investment Bank division at Citigroup, and CFO of Salomon Smith Barney.
JPMorgan Chase Appoints Head of Digital for Consumer and Community Banking Division
Dr. Gavin Michael has joined JPMorgan Chase as Head of Digital for Chase's Consumer and Community Banking division. Michael served as the Chief Technology Innovation Officer at Accenture since 2010, where he was responsible for the innovation agenda, technology strategy, and research and development. Prior to joining Accenture in 2010, Michael had a series of senior technology roles at Lloyd's Banking Group, including Retail CIO. He previously held senior roles at National Australia Bank and IBM.
