Microsoft Elects Former US Secretary of Commerce as Newest Board Member. Entrepreneur, civic leader and philanthropist and former United States Secretary of Commerce Penny S. Pritzker, JD, 58, joins as director of Microsoft.

Broadcom Appoints Former Benchmark Electronics CEO as Independent Director. Broadcom appointed Ms. Gayla J. Delly, 57, as an independent director of the company. Ms. Delly served as CEO of Benchmark Electronics.

Microsoft Appoints Former Cisco CTO to Board; Sees Multiple Exec Changes

Padmasree Warrior, 55, the former CTO of Cisco is joining the Microsoft board. She's already a board member for Box, and for Gap, posts she had before she left Cisco.

Microsoft Goes Through More Senior Leadership Changes 

David Sacks, Corporate VP of Office Division left. Sacks is social enterprise start-up Yammer’s founder and former CEO, which was acquired by Microsoft for $1.2 billion. Sacks was previously the COO of PayPal until its acquisition by eBay. Subsequently, he founded Geni.com, a family tree building and networking website.

Microsoft Makes iCIO Jim Dubois as Permanent CIO; Company Goes through Other Leadership Changes

Microsoft appoints its interim CIO for the past six months Jim DuBois as Corporate VP and CIO. DuBois has been at Microsoft for more than 20 years, most recently being the VP of Microsoft IT Products and Services. He has also served as GM of IT at the company.
