Apple Director Won't Seek Re-Election

J.Crew CEO Millard “Mickey” Drexler, 70, who has served on the Board since 1999, notified the Board of his intention to retire at the end of his current term. His role will end in March; no one has been named to fill the vacancy. In addition to his position on Apple’s board, Drexler has been the CEO of J.Crew since 2003. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Gap.

Procter & Gamble Appoints Beauty Segment Leader as Global President for e-business

Deb Henretta, 53, formerly the group president of global beauty, has been named the global president for e-business at Procter & Gamble. Henretta served as Group President of Global Beauty Care; Group President, Asia and Global Specialty Channel; Group President of Asia as her most recent roles. Before that she had responsibility of ASEAN, Baby Care, Fabric Conditioners, Laundry Products, etc. She has been a Director of Corning since 2013.

Salesforce appoints Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, to its Board. Before heading YouTube, she was SVP for advertising and commerce of Google. Wojcicki joined Google in 1999 as the 16th employee and served as the search engine's first marketing executive. At Google, Wojcicki has overseen product management of AdSense, Google Book Search and Google Video as well as the syndication of the company's products.

SAP’s CMO Named Company's First Chief Digital Officer

SAP named its CMO Jonathan Becher, 49, as the company's first Chief Digital Officer to lead the company's new digital business unit. Becher, a technology and marketing expert, joined SAP during the 2007 acquisition of Pilot Software, where he was president-CEO. Prior to leading Pilot Software, Becher was president-CEO of Accrue Software, a provider of web analytics, and president-CEO of NeoVista Software, a predictive analytics and data mining company.

Former Federal Reserve Governor Joins Wells Fargo Board

Wells Fargo & Company has elected Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Duke, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, to the company’s board of directors. Prior to her service as a Federal Reserve Governor, Duke served in various senior leadership roles in banking, including as COO of TowneBank, CEO of Bank of Tidewater, and as a senior officer of SouthTrust Bank and Wachovia Bank, N.A., the last three of which banks are now part of Wells Fargo.

AT&T, QUALCOMM & More Technology Board Changes

AT&T Adds Chairman and CEO of KeyCorp as Director

AT&T has named Beth E. Mooney, 58, chairman and CEO of KeyCorp, to its board of directors. Mooney joined KeyCorp in 2006 as vice chairman and head of Key Community Bank and served as president, COO and executive director from 2010 to 2011, when she was named CEO. Prior to her most recent position as Senior EVP and CFO for AmSouth Bancorporation (now Regions Financial Corporation), Mooney ran its banking operations in Tennessee and Northern Louisiana. Mooney also completed other line assignments of increasing responsibility at Bank One Corporation, Citicorp Real Estate, Inc., Hall Financial Group and Republic Bank of Texas/First Republic. At Bank One, she served as Regional President in Akron and Dayton, and then as President of Bank One Ohio, managing major markets throughout the state.

Accenture Appoints GM Veteran to Board 

Accenture appointed Jaime Ardila, 58, as a new director of the Company. Ardila first joined General Motors in 1984 and has been EVP and president of General Motors South America since 2010. Previously, he was president of GM's operations in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, and prior to that, he was VP and CFO for the Latin America, Africa and Middle East region. Over the course of his more than 25 years with GM, he also lived and worked in Europe and the United States. In addition, he was also with N M Rothschild & Sons for two years, establishing the investment bank's Colombian business before rejoining GM in 1998.

Google VP of Product Management and Head of Search for Google Play Store Depart

Google's VP of Product Management for Android, Hugo Barra, is leaving the company. Barra is joining Chinese company Xiaomi as Head of the company's International Business Development. During his five years stint at Google, Barra had been the constant public face of Android. Xiaomi, which entered smartphone segment just two years ago, recently displaced Apple in China.

AT&T’s Long-Time Board Member to Retire

AT&T board member Dr. Gilbert Amelio, 70, has decided to retire to devote more attention to a wide range of professional and personal activities. Amelio has been an AT&T Director since 2001 and had previously served as an Advisory Director of AT&T from 1997 to 2001. Also, he was a Director of Pacific Telesis Group from 1995 until 1997 when the company was acquired by AT&T (then known as SBC Communications).
