Merck Appoints Retired Accenture CFO to Board 

Merck appointed Pamela J. Craig, 58, retired CFO of Accenture, to the company’s board of directors. Craig served as the CFO of Accenture from 2006 until her retirement in 2013. During her 34 years at Accenture, she held a variety of consulting, line management, operational and finance leadership roles. 

Raytheon’s New Board Member is Chairman, President and CEO of BMC

Raytheon Company elected Robert "Bob" Beauchamp, 55, as a director. Beauchamp is chairman, president and CEO of BMC Software. He joined BMC in 1988 and has served as president and CEO since 2001. Beauchamp was named board chairman of BMC in 2008.

CDW Chair/CEO Joins Northern Trust’s Board

Northern Trust Corporation named Thomas E. Richards, 60, Chairman, President and CEO of CDW Corporation, to its board. Richards has served as President of CDW since 2009, CEO since 2011 and Chairman since 2013. Before serving as CEO of CDW, Richards served as CDW’s COO from 2009 to 2011. Prior to joining CDW, Richards held leadership positions with Qwest Communications, including EVP and COO. Richards also served as Chairman and CEO of Clear Communications Corporation and as an EVP of Ameritech Corporation.

Former Yahoo! Exec Joins Board of Agribusiness and Food Company Bunge

Global agribusiness and food company Bunge Limited appointed Paul Cornet de Ways-Ruart, 47, to its Board of Directors. Cornet held senior roles at Yahoo! EMEA, where he led Corporate Development before becoming its Senior Finance Director and Chief of Staff. Previously, he was Director of Strategy at Orange UK, a mobile network operator and internet service provider, and worked with McKinsey in London and California.

CEO of Accenture’s Tech Group is New Director at Western Union

The Western Union Company appointed Martin I. Cole to the company’s Board of Directors. Cole served as CEO of the Technology Group at Accenture from 2012 to 2014. During his career at Accenture, Cole held a number of roles of increasing responsibility, including: CEO of the Communications, Media & Technology Operating Group; as CEO of the Government Operating Group; as Managing Partner of the Outsourcing and Infrastructure Delivery Group; and as Partner in the Outsourcing and Government Practices Group. Prior to that, he served Accenture and its predecessor in a variety roles beginning in 1980.

Digital Asset Holdings’ CEO is Now Non-Executive Chairman of Santander Consumer USA

Santander Consumer USA Holdings named Blythe Masters, 46, as non-executive Chairman. Masters is CEO of Digital Asset Holdings, a FinTech company which provides digital technology to enhance settlement and recording of both digital and mainstream financial assets. She succeeds Stephen Ferriss, who served as Interim Chairman, and remains on the Board. Prior to leading Digital Asset Holdings, Masters held senior executive roles at J.P. Morgan Chase, where she served as the head of its global commodities business, as the head of Corporate & Investment Bank Regulatory Affairs, and as CFO of J.P. Morgan's investment bank.

Former CACI CTO Appointed Board Member at Alliant Energy

Public utility holding company Alliant Energy Corporation named Deborah B. Dunie, 51, as director. Dunie most recently served as EVP and CTO of CACI International, an information solutions and services company in the government sector. Prior to that, she served in various key information policy positions in government and private businesses such as the Department of Defense - Office of the Secretary of Defense, Oracle Corporation, Raytheon Company, Martin Marietta (now part of Lockheed Martin), General Electric and ITT Corporation. In 2015, she joined the board of SAIC.

Domino's Pizza Appoints Quad Analytix’s CEO and Digital Media Entrepreneur as Director

Domino's Pizza named Andy Ballard, 42, to its Board of Directors. Ballard serves as the CEO and co-founder of Quad Analytix, a technology and data start-up and is the founder and managing partner of Figtree Partners, an investment firm focused on digital media. He is also the Vice Chairman of Zignal Labs, a digital media monitoring firm. Additionally, Ballard serves as a Senior Advisor at the private equity firm Hellman & Friedman, where he was previously a managing director.

Former Fiserv EVP, HR and Shared Services Joins Freddie Mac Board

Freddie Mac elected Lance F. Drummond, 60, to its Board of Directors. Drummond served as EVP, operations and technology for TD Canada Trust from 2011 to 2014. Prior to joining TD, he was EVP of human resources and shared services at Fiserv from 2009 to 2011. Before joining Fiserv he was SVP and supply chain executive, service and fulfillment executive for global technology and operations and eCommerce and ATM executive at Bank of America. He began his career at Eastman Kodak Company, where he held a variety of positions from 1976 to 2002, including serving as COO and corporate VP, Kodak Professional Division.

McKesson’s CIO/CTO Joins Board of Freight Transportation and Logistics Company ArcBest

ArcBest Corporation appoints Kathy D. McElligott, 59, as a director. McElligott is EVP and Chief Information and Technology Officer of McKesson. She joined McKesson in July 2015, after serving as the CIO and VP, Information Technology at Emerson Electric since 2010. Prior to joining Emerson, she spent 22 years with GE in multiple information systems leadership roles, including CIO of supply chain at GE Aircraft Engines.

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members.
