Wojcicki joined Google in 1999 as the 16th employee and served as the search engine's first marketing executive. At Google, Wojcicki has overseen product management of AdSense, Google Book Search and Google Video as well as the syndication of the company's products. The new appointment gives her chance to run an independent business at Google. She has been sharing her job with Sridhar Ramaswamy, also a SVP for advertising and commerce. Ramaswamy will run the ad business for Google going forward.

Yahoo! named Alex Stamos , current CTO for security firm Artemis and co-founder of TrustyCon, as its next Chief Information Security Officer. The company's last CISO, Justin Somaini, left Yahoo! more than a year ago.
Sohu.com COO Leaves
Belinda Wang, Co-President and COO of Sohu.com, China's leading online media, search, gaming, community and mobile service group, has resigned for personal reasons. Wang has been with Sohu since 1999, in charge of the online media, mobile, sales and marketing divisions, innovative advertising concepts such as MATRIX, and Sohu+. Under her leadership, Sohu News Mobile App and other mobile products have become leading mobile media platforms in China.
PayPal Exec Leaves to Joins as CFO of Payments Start-Up Clinkle
Mike Liberatore, who headed up enterprise and North American financials at PayPal joined Clinkle, the payments start-up as its new CFO. Before joining PayPal in 2009, Liberatore worked in various financial roles at eBay, Adobe, Intel, and HP.
Orbitz Worldwide Promotes President of US Brands as COO
Online travel company Orbitz Worldwide promoted Chris Orton to the role of COO. Orton joined Orbitz Worldwide in 2010 as CMO, and in 2011 was named President of Orbitz.com and CheapTickets, the Company's online travel agency brands in the United States. Prior to joining Orbitz, Orton was senior director of Internet marketing at eBay, after 8 years of CRM and ERP consulting at Kana Software, PwC and Andersen Consulting (Accenture).
Time Inc. Appoints Digital Leader
M. Scott Havens has been named SVP, Digital at Time Inc., responsible for managing the operations and driving the strategic development of digital products. He joins from The Atlantic, where he has served as President and earlier as VP of digital strategy. Previously, Havens held roles as Executive Director, Conde Nast Business Media, as founder of Portfolio.com, and he managed the BD team at Yahoo!
Millennial Media Appoints Media Experts to Board; Adds Former Yahoo! Chief Revenue Officer as CEO
Digital advertising platform provider Millennial Media appointed Ross Levinsohn and Tom Evans to its Board of Directors. Levinsohn currently serves as CEO of Guggenheim Digital Media. Prior to this role, Levinsohn worked at Yahoo! where he held a series of executive roles, including interim CEO and Head of Global Media. He has also held senior roles at media companies such as Fox Interactive Media, Alta Vista, and CBS Sportsline.
Tom Evans most recently served as President and CEO of Bankrate, the Web's leading aggregator of financial rate information. He previously held CEO positions at Official Payments and GeoCities. Previously, he served as President and Publisher of the U.S. News & World Report, The Atlantic Monthly, and Fast Company.
Ad-tech veteran Michael Barrett is taking over as CEO of the company. Barrett, most recently the Chief Revenue Officer at Yahoo, is replacing Paul Palmieri, the company's founder, who resigned from its board of directors as well. Before his stint at Yahoo, Barrett served as CEO of Google-acquired AdMeld and CRO of MySpace.
