Ingram Micro's Mobility Division
Ingram Micro promotes Bashar Nejdawi, a 29-year veteran of the telecommunication and mobility industry and current SVP of Corporate Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships for Ingram Micro Mobility (formerly Brightpoint), as President of Ingram Micro North America Mobility. He will replace Mark Howell, current EVP and President of Ingram Micro North America Mobility, who has resigned to pursue personal interests. Bashar joined BrightPoint in 2008 as president Mobile Enhancement business, responsible for building a global accessories business and later became global executive and head of European Sales and Procurement before progressing to his current role. He has considerable experience in working with the North American team as well as the European team. Prior to this, Bashar was with Motorola for 17 years.
ZAGG Names iCEO to CEO Post
ZAGG, which develops mobile accessories and cases, has named Randall Hales, 46, as CEO. Hales has been interim CEO at the company, after the resignation of its prior CEO. Previously, he served as the CEO of MITY Enterprises, CEO of Broda, a medical products company, CEO of Mity-Lite, CEO and President of Focus Electrics Group at Focus Products Group. He also served as CEO and COO of Back to Basics Products, President of Focus Electronics, CEO and President of First Scientific, Product Director of Dal-Tile International, General Manager of Operations of David Weekly. He has been a Director of ZAGG since 2010.
Good Technology Names former Motorola and Apple Exec as Next CEO
Enterprise mobility company Good Technology has hired Christy Wyatt as its next CEO. Wyatt, a former Motorola and Apple executive, had most recently served a short stint as head of mobile efforts for banking giant Citi. She left Motorola at the time the Google acquisition closed. Current Good CEO King Lee will remain on the company’s board and serve as executive chairman.
