Medical Waste Management Company Appoints Former Nortel CEO as Director

Stericycle elected Michael Zafirovski, 59, as a director to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of CEO of Siemens Healthcare, Reid-Anderson's, 52. Mr. Zafirovski has served as Senior Advisor to The Blackstone Group since 2011. He is former Director, President and CEO of Nortel Networks. Prior to that, he was Director, President and COO of Motorola, and remained a consultant to and a director of Motorola. He served as EVP and President of the Personal Communications Sector of Motorola. Prior to joining Motorola, Mr. Zafirovski spent nearly 25 years with GE, where he served in management positions, including 13 years as President and CEO of five businesses in the consumer, industrial and financial services arenas, his most recent being President and CEO of GE Lighting. Mr. Zafirovski also serves on the board of The Boeing Company, DJO Global and Apria Healthcare Group.

Former IBM and Xerox Finance Exec Joins Electronics Manufacturing Services Provider’s Board

Flextronics named Lawrence A. Zimmerman, 52, to the Company's Board. Mr. Zimmerman has extensive experience in corporate finance and accounting, having previously served as vice chairman and CFO and as executive vice president and CFO at Xerox. Prior to that, he spent 32 years with IBM, holding various senior finance positions, including corporate controller. Mr. Zimmerman currently serves as a director of CSC, Brunswick Corporation and Delphi Automotive. Flextronics also announced that Mr. Robert Edwards resigned from the Board.

Heavy Equipment Company Names Technology Sector Exec to Board

AmeraMex International appointed Marty Tullio to its Board of Directors. Ms. Tullio, a managing partner of McCloud Communications, has more than 15 years of senior management experience in the areas of investor relations and financial communications. Prior to becoming an investor relations professional, she spent fifteen years in sales and marketing within the technology sector with major corporations such as NCR, GTE Telnet, McDonnell Douglas and smaller technology companies such as Time Systems International and Data Point Corporation. Tullio held a variety of positions from sales and middle management to general manager, executive vice president and vice president of sales and marketing.

Former PSINet Exec Joins Board of Biopharmaceutical Company

NewLink Genetics named Lota S. Zoth to its Board of Directors. Ms. Zoth was CFO at MedImmune, at the time the company was sold to AstraZeneca in 2007. Over her 30-year career, she held a number of senior financial positions at MedImmune, and other publicly-traded companies, including Marriott International, PepsiCo, Sodexo (formerly Sodexho Marriott) and PSINet. Ms. Zoth, a certified public accountant, began her career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.

Dora Vell

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
