EDS/HP Exec Named to Clean Energy Company Board

Premier Holding, the clean energy products and services company, appointed Bobby Grisham, 58, to its board of directors. Grisham served at EDS, a HP company, for more than 30 years, currently being the chief global sales officer. He also served as the president of the EDS U.S. Southwest Operations Solutions and President of the Large Financial Institutions Strategic Business Unit, assuming responsibility for all EDS banking and securities business. Grisham also managed all IT operations for six General Motors Electrical Component divisions.

Software Industry Investor and Advisor Named to Cambridge Bancorp’s Board

Cambridge Bancorp appointed Hambleton (Ham) Lord to its board. He is the MD of LaunchPad Venture Group, a Boston-based angel group that focuses on seed and early-stage investments for technology companies. He is a board member for Qstream, and a board observer for Building Engines and EveryScape. With over 25 years of experience in the software industry, Mr. Lord is an active investor and advisor to early stage companies. Mr. Lord's senior management experience most recently includes co-founding and serving as the VP of Marketing for Advanced Visual Systems (AVS). Prior to AVS, he helped launch two computational chemistry companies, MicroChem Technologies and Polygen, making them pioneers in the development of software for drug discovery, and were part of an industry wide acquisition roll-up that resulted in Accelrys.

Global CTO of Citibank appointed to StrongMail Board

StrongMail, a leading provider of interactive marketing solutions, appointed Yobie Benjamin to the company's Board. A visionary tech innovator and entrepreneur, Benjamin currently serves as CTO and MD of Citigroup Global Transaction Services/Institutional Clients Group (GTS/ICG). He formerly founded GoodStorm.com, a social-service e-commerce site helping non-profits that was acquired by Kleiner-Perkins-funded Zazzle.com. He has been Partner, Chief of Global Strategy and CTO at E&Y, Partner at CSC and Innovation Arts, and Chief Knowledge Officer at Cambridge Technology Partners.

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members. Vell has successfully completed numerous board member and C-level executive searches, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, and Vice Presidents - at both public and private companies.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
