Riverbed Technology selected David Greene as CMO. Before joining Riverbed, he was the VP, WW Marketing for the IT management portfolio at BMC. Prior to BMC, he held marketing roles at Data Center Automation Company, Active Reasoning, Exodus Communications, HiFive.net, and HP.

Neustar Appoints CISO

Real-time info and analysis co. Neustar appointed Jonathan Coombes as CISO. He joins from Rackspace Hosting, where he served as CSO. In the past, he worked in sectors like government, healthcare and finance with firms such as UUSA and IBM. He serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve and is a 30-year veteran of both the Marines’ active and reserve forces.

Compass Datacenters New SVP Sales from Digital Realty Trust


Compass Datacenters has named Brent Behrman as SVP of Sales, a role in which he will oversee direct and channel sales. He was formerly SVP of Sales of data center solution provider, Digital Realty.

SMART Technologies CEO Becomes Vice-Chair and iCEO Announced


Nancy Knowlton, a co-founder and current CEO of the electronic whiteboard maker, announced that she is leaving her executive role and will now be the Vice-Chairman of the board.

Smart’s COO Tom Hodson has been named interim CEO and the company hopes to appoint a new head later this year.

Rakishev, Chairman of SATC and an investor with multiple business interests worldwide, said he selected NETE because he recognized the potential of the company's technological innovation and its pending patents for 3D provisioning and mobile app technologies.

Changes in Bridgeline Digital’s Board


William Coldrick, 69, retired from the Board of Directors of the web experience management provider Bridgeline Digital.

Bridgeline Digital also named Ms. Joni Kahn, 54, to the Board and to the Audit and Compensation Committee. Prior to this, Ms. Kahn was SVP of Global Services at ArcSight, EVP at BearingPoint, Snr. Class II Director Carlo Salvatori has been appointed as a Class I Director following the resignation of William C. Styslinger, III.

Interim CEO Raghu Rau has been appointed as permanent CEO of the company. Rau will also retain his seat on the company's Board. Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members.
