CVS Health, Rhode Island, December 2017 - CVS Health CIO Stephen Gold left the company to pursue professional opportunities outside CVS Health.

Facebook, California, March 2018 - Facebook's CISO Alex Stamos is leaving the company after internal disagreements over how the company should handle its role in spreading disinformation. He was persuaded to assist until August in the transition of his duties, because executives thought that his departure would look bad. The development comes after Facebook suspended the accounts of British company Strategic Communication Laboratories and its political data analytics firm Cambridge Analytica LLC, as well as Christopher Wylie of Eunoia Technologies, for violating the platform's personal data policies.

Nordstrom, Washington, January 2017 - Nordstrom plans to hire a new CTO by the end of the year, who will be responsible for all aspects of technology, after the CIO and CTO both left early this year.

The AES Corporation, Virginia, June 2017 - SVP & CIO Elizabeth Hackenson departed from the company. No announcements on new CIO yet.

Hertz Global, Florida - Tyler Best stepped down as EVP and CIO of Hertz Global Holdings and The Hertz Corporation.

Southern California Gas Company, California, February 2018 - J. Christopher Baker informed the Company that he will retire as CIO.

Mercury General, California - Mercury General Corporation announced resignation of Allan Lubitz as SVP and CIO of the Company.

Rent-A-Center, Texas, November 2017 - Angela Yochem plans to step down as CIO of Rent-A-Center at the end of the year, taking the newly created role of chief digital officer at Novant Health in January. Rent-A-Center is seeking a successor for the CIO post.

Equifax, Georgia, September 2017 - CIO David Webb and Chief Security Officer Susan Mauldin are leaving after the data breach. Mark Rohrwasser has been appointed interim CIO and Russ Ayres has been appointed interim Chief Security Officer.

Groupon, Illinois, January 2018 - Jay Sullivan notified Groupon of his decision to resign as Chief Product Officer, in order to pursue new opportunities. The Product Management teams will report to COO Steve Krenzer who will assume Mr. Sullivan's responsibilities on an interim basis until the Company appoints a permanent replacement.

Twitter, California - Twitter’s CISO Michael Coates is leaving the company. Coates’ interim replacement is Joseph Camilleri, a senior manager for information security and risk.

Teradata, California, November 2017 - Teradata is seeking a VP, Global Cyber Security (CISO), who will lead the Company’s Cyber Security Team to coordinate business outcomes and strategic value capture.

Titan International, Illinois - James M. Froisland, the company's CFO and CIO, steps down. A search for Mr. Froisland's replacement is in process.

Allegiant Travel Company, Nevada, December 2017 - Allegiant Travel Company announced that Scott Allard has resigned his position as EVP and CIO. Robert Wilson, SVP, information systems, will act as interim CIO until a successor is selected.

Splunk, California, January 2018 - Richard Campione, the company’s Chief Product Officer, entered into a Transition Plan and Release Agreement pursuant to which Mr. Campione’s employment with the company will terminate on January 31, 2018.

United Insurance, Florida - Andrew Swenson has stepped down from the position of CIO. COO Paul DiFrancesco will oversee the IT team at the company while the company conducts a search for Mr. Swenson's replacement.

Shutterstock, New York, July 2017  - David Giambruno, the Company’s CIO, will be leaving the Company.

Global Eagle Entertainment, California, November 2016 - Global Eagle Entertainment and Aditya Chatterjee, the company’s CTO, have entered into a Separation and Release Agreement.

First Interstate BancSystem, Montana, March 2018 - Kevin J. Guenthner, 53, is resigning as SVP and CIO of First Interstate BancSystem.

Inovalon, Maryland, April 2017 - Joseph R. Rostock’s employment as the Inovalon Holdings’s CTO ended.

USA Technologies, Pennsylvania - Mandeep Arora resigned as Chief Product Officer of USA Technologies.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, New York, March 2018 - Lee Alexander, EVP, CIO and head of the Technology Group resigned from the Bank. Bijan Chowdhury, SVP for Enterprise Architecture & Design, will serve as acting CIO while the search for the replacement takes place.

Accelerize, California, February 2018 - Dave Stewart, CTO of Accelerize, resigned from his position.

Inpixon, California, September 2017 - Inpixon announced resignation of Craig Harper as CTO.

TMAC Resources, Ontario, Canada, January 2018 - Gordon Morrison is retiring as President and CTO, and will immediately transition to the part time role of Executive Advisor effective January 1, 2018.

NASA, Washington D.C., May 2017 - Michael Witt, who joined NASA in February, will become acting senior agency information security officer, replacing Jeanette Hanna-Ruiz.

University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma, June 2017 - Oklahoma Eddie Huebsch has been named interim CIO at the University of Oklahoma. Huebsch has served OU IT for more than 16 years in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as associate VP of technology advancement.

Huawei Technologies, Massachusetts - Huawei Technologies is seeking a CTO - Enterprise Storage, for Massachusetts location to lead the development of the storage strategy and roadmap; ensure its integration with the enterprises strategic planning and process, as well as the resulting business strategy and plans.

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium, Alaska, Deceber 2017 - SEARHC is seeking a new CIO that will create a best in class, IT division.

Biotest, Florida, January 2018 - Stuart Kippelman has taken on the temporary role of Interim CIO at a pharmaceutical company called Biotest.

TOTVS S.A., Brazil - TOTVS approved the resignation tendered by the CTO, Mr. André Bretas Nunes de Lima.

Europe, Middle East & Africa

Liberty Global plc, United Kingdom - Balan Nair, currently Chief Technology & Innovation Officer for Liberty Global, will assume the position of President and CEO of its Latin American and Caribbean operation once the split-off from Liberty Global occurs, which is expected around the end of the year. Mr. Nair will remain in his current position with Liberty Global until the split-off is completed, and a search is already underway for his successor.

Eskom Holdings SOC, South Africa, January 2018 - The temporary suspension of Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd.'s CIO, Mr. Sean Maritz, has now been converted to a permanent suspension pending an investigation into allegations of impropriety.

Compagnie Financière Richemont, Switzerland - Dr. Jean-Jacques Van Oosten has relinquished his responsibilities as CTO for personal reasons and has stepped down from the Senior Executive Committee.

Topdanmark, Denmark, February 2018 - Marianne Wier resigns as CIO.

Provident Financial, United Kingdom, February 2018 - Provident Financial Group has appointed Steve Grigg, as interim Group Chief Information & Technology Officer.

Uponor Oyj, Finland, April 2018 - Uponor Corporation’s member of the Executive Committee, Fernando Roses, EVP, Group Technology and Corporate Development, leaves Uponor.

Stockmann, Finland - Petteri Naulapää, CIO and member of the Management Team, has announced that he will leave the company.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Australia, March 2018 - David Whiteing, Group Executive Enterprise Services and CIO, will leave the Bank in the coming months. Paul Newham, currently Executive General Manager Group Operations, will take acting responsibilities for the Enterprise Services division while a global search is undertaken for Mr. Whiteing's successor.

Shin Kong Life Insurance, Taiwan, March 2018 - Shin Kong Life Insuranceannounced resignation of Lu, Chang-Song as CIO.

Shanghai Electric Group Company, China, March 2018 - The board of directors of Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited announced due to personal reasons, Ms. Li Jing has tendered her resignation as CIO of the company, with effect from 29 March 2018.

Zhongyuan Bank, China, December 2017 - Zhang Bin has resigned as an executive director, the VP, the CIO due to adjustment of his work arrangement.

Cheetah Mobile, China, December 2017 - The company announced that Mr. Charles Fan will resign as CTO of the Company for personal reasons.

Oceanus Group, Singapore - Tan Kim Chuan Matthew stepped down as Chief Risk Officer and CTO of the company.

Megawide Construction, Philippines, March 2018 - Manuel Louie B. Ferrer resigned as Data Protection Officer of Megawide Construction Corporation to focus on his responsibilities as Chief Marketing Officer.

Ford Motor Company, Michigan - Ford Motor Company announced that VP and COO of IT Jeff Lemmer has been appointed Ford VP and CIO.

Intel, California - Jim Keller will join Intel as a SVP to lead the company’s silicon engineering. Keller, 59, joins Intel from Tesla, where he was VP of Autopilot and Low Voltage Hardware.

Cisco Systems, California - Cisco appointed Accompany Founder and CEO Amy Chang as SVP in charge of the Collaboration Technology Group.

Facebook, California - Chief Product Officer Chris Cox, 36, who was previously in charge of the core Facebook app, will be in-charge of all apps including - Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram. These apps have new leaders assigned to them (except Instagram) reporting to Cox - Facebook’s profiles team member Will Cathcart will lead the Facebook core app.
Stan Chudnovsky, 46, who has been the Head of Product at Messenger, will lead the Messenger app.
Chris Daniels, VP of the company’s Internet.org group, will lead WhatsApp and its team. Replaces WhatsApp’s outgoing CEO Jan Koum, 42.
Kevin Systrom, 34, Instagram’s CEO, will continue leading the app and its team. Adam Mosseri, VP, Product Management who runs Facebook’s News Feed, is new VP of product of Instagram.
Mike Schroepfer, who has been the CTO of the company since 2013, will be in-charge of the New Platforms and Infrastructure group which includes: Engineering, Infrastructure and Data Privacy; Artificial Intelligence; Augmented and Virtual Reality; and Blockchain. Execs reporting to him will be - Jay Parikh, 45, VP of Engineering and Infrastructure, will also oversee a new product team focused on privacy products and initiatives. David Baser, Director, Product Management, will lead a new privacy product team, reporting to Jay Parikh. 
Artificial Intelligence: VP of Artificial Intelligence Dr. Jerome Pesenti, who is IBM's former chief scientist for big data, will continue leading Artificial Intelligence team. He joined Facebook in January 2018.
Augmented and Virtual Reality: Andrew Bosworth, 35, continues to be in-charge of Augmented and Virtual Reality as well as Hardware teams, which he took over in August 2017.
Blockchain Technology: Facebook Messenger boss David Marcus, 44, will take over a new internal team dedicated to exploring blockchain technology.  Instagram execs are also joining his blockchain team: Instagram’s VP of Engineering, James Everingham, and Instagram’s VP of Product, Kevin Weil.
Central Product Services lead is Javier Olivan and includes ads, analytics, integrity, growth, and product management. Olivan joined Facebook as Head of International Growth in 2007. He was most recently VP of Growth, Engagement and Mobile Adoption.
Naomi Gleit, VP of Social Good and Senior Director of the Growth, Engagement, and Mobile Team, will lead Integrity, Growth and Product Management, reporting to Olivan. Gleit joined Facebook in 2005.
Alex Schultz, who leads growth, marketing, data analytics (data science & data engineering) will be the Head of Analytics.
VP Ads & Business Platform Mark Rabkin will continue leading Ads, reporting to Olivan.

H.E. Butt Grocery Company, Texas - H-E-B has appointed Jag Bath to the newly created position of Chief Digital Officer. He will continue in his current role as CEO of Favor Delivery, the on-demand delivery service founded in 2013 that is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of H-E-B.

Tenet Healthcare Corporation, Texas - Tenet Healthcare named Paola Arbour as SVP and CIO. She joins Tenet from ProV International, where she most recently served as president of the ServiceNow business unit.

Bridgestone Americas, Tennessee - Bridgestone Americas named Andy Sobotta as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He most recently served as CISO at Sensata Technologies.

BNY Mellon, New York - BNY Mellon has announced that it has appointed Nitin Chandel as head of BNY Mellon Technology, India. Chandel has previously been with Visa where he was SVP for its Developer Platform.
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation named Hood Qaim-Maqami as head of client service delivery (CSD) technology and shared/corporate services technology. Qaim-Maqami joins BNY Mellon from JP Morgan Chase, where he was Managing Director in Wealth Management.

FirstEnergy, Ohio - FirstEnergy appointed Samuel Pierre-Louis as VP, Information Technology. Pierre-Louis joins FirstEnergy from Providence St. Joseph Health, where he was VP, chief information security officer.

Mastercard, New York - Mastercard announced that Miguel Gamino Jr., most recently CTO of New York City, has joined the company as its EVP for global cities, scaling of urban tech solutions and shape new partnership models to address cities’ most pressing challenges.
Mastercard appointed Caroline Louveaux to be chief privacy officer, working on data innovation and ensuring privacy. She is a member of the advisory board and a lecturer for the new “Certified DPO education” program at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.

Henry Schein, New York - Henry Schein hired Christopher Pendergast of Farmingdale as SVP and CTO in Melville. He had a similar role at VSP Global in Rancho Cordova, California.

Salesforce, California - Salesforce has appointed Lindsey Finch as its data protection officer. Currently, Finch serves at Salesforce as its SVP, global privacy & product legal.

Avery Dennison, California - Xylem's SVP & CIO Nick Colisto has been named CIO at Avery Dennison.

Fiserv, Wisconsin - CTO Marc West has been promoted to CIO at Fiserv.

Save Mart, California - Albertsons' Group VP, IT Carrie Rasmussen named CIO at Save Mart.

SAIC, Virginia - SAIC named John F. Walsh III as SVP and GM, IT Solutions Market Segment. Walsh joins SAIC from CSRA, where he was VP of Homeland Security Programs.

Albemarle, North Carolina - Albemarle Corporation announced that it has named former GE exec Dr. Glen Merfeld as Albemarle's CTO for its Lithium business and will be responsible for R&D in the area of energy storage and will lead all Lithium technology efforts in the areas of both material and data science.

Avaya, California - Chris McGugan has re-joined Avaya in a new role as Chief Technology Strategist. Most recently, he served as an operating executive with a major retailer, where he built out cloud and IoT operations to support strategic initiatives. In his previous tenure with Avaya, McGugan was VP of Emerging Products and Technology.
Jeff Smith joined as CISO from Centrica.

TRI Pointe Group, California - TRI Pointe Group named Jeff Lake as VP of Architecture and Design. Lake previously served as National VP of Architecture at CalAtlantic Group and Standard Pacific Homes.

Unisys, Pennsylvania - Unisys named Mathew Newfield as CISO. Prior to joining Unisys, Newfield served as director of global managed security services (MSS) for IBM as well as the business information security officer within IBM's security organization.

Kemper, Illinois - Miguel Edwards has joined Kemper as CIO for the Life and Health Division. Edwards joins Kemper from Allstate Insurance, where he served as VP, Strategy & Operations for Allstate Brand Distribution.

New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, New Jersey - VP Carol Voorhees promoted to SVP & CIO, making her the first to hold the position since the Company was founded in 1913.

Popular, Puerto Rico - Popular created the Corporate Security Group, led by Betina Castellv as the Chief Security Officer. Castellv's career at Popular, which spans over 20 years, includes leadership roles in several areas, such as financial, operational and market risk, and most recently, the position of General Auditor, which she assumed in 2012.

Lockton, Missouri - Lockton hired Said Taiym as its new EVP and chief digital officer. He most recently was CIO for AF Group.

The New York Times Co., New York - The New York Times Co.named VP of technology Cindy Taibi SVP & CIO.

NeuStar, Virginia - Neustar appointed Shailesh Shukla as GM of Security Solutions. Shukla will oversee the company’s DDoS, DNS and IP Intelligence solutions including its cybersecurity operations. Shukla joins the company from Instart Logic, where Shukla served as the COO.

WideOpenWest, Colorado - WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone appointed Matt Bell to WOW!'s executive team as chief technology officer. Bell previously served in executive roles at Charter Communications, Motorola Mobility, Sarepta Advisors and Teambell Consulting.

ePlus Technology, Virginia - ePlus named Darren Raiguel as President of ePlus Technology. Mr. Raiguel has had a 20-year tenure with ePlus. He most recently held the position of EVP of Technology Sales.

IMF, District Of Columbia - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will appoint Edward C. Anderson as its CIO and Director of its IT Department. Anderson, a U.S. national, is an experienced IT leader who most recently served as Global CIO at World Vision International.

American Society Of Composers Authors and Publishers, New York - ASCAP appointed Nick Lehman as EVP and Chief Strategy & Digital Officer. Lehman most recently worked as Chief Strategy Officer for TEGNA.

Tableau Software, Washington - Tableau Software appointed veteran technologist Mark Nelson as EVP of Product Development. Mark most recently at Concur, where he served as CTO.

Haemonetics, Massachusetts - Haemonetics Corporation appointed Said Bolorforosh, Ph.D., EVP and CTO. He previously served as VP and General Manager of Intensive Insulin Delivery, VP of R&D and CT Ofor Medtronic's Diabetes division, leading P&L as well as technology and product development.

Cars.com, Illinois - Cars.com appointed Fred Lee as its new SVP of technology. Prior to joining Cars.com, Lee served as the CTO of Gamut.com, a funded startup within Grainger, where he spent a year as the company's VP of digital architecture.

The University of Vermont, Vermont - University of Vermont appointed T. Simeon Ananou as the University's new CIO. He is currently the VP for Information Technologies Services and CIO at SUNY's University at Albany.

LendingClub, California - LendingClub Corporation has named Bahman Koohestani to serve as its new CTO. He joins the company from insights and analytics company Clarivate Analytics, where he served as CTO, technology innovation and delivery for over three years.

InterDigital, Delaware - InterDigital appointed Dr. Henry Tirri as CTO. Dr. Tirri was formerly EVP and CTO of Harman International Industries and previously led connected car research and development at the company.

First Interstate BancSystem, Montana - First Interstate BancSystem appointed Kade Peterson to serve as its EVP and CIO. Most recently served as SVP and CIO of MidSouth Bank in Lafayette, Louisiana since 2016.

Paycom Software, Oklahoma - Paycom Software named Brad Smith to CIO. Before joining Paycom, Smith served as senior technical consultant at BearingPoint since 2003 and as manager of software development and business intelligence at Fleming Companies from 1995 to 2003.

Ellie Mae, California - Ellie Mae announced that Eric Connors has joined the organization as SVP of product strategy and management. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Eric led CoreLogic’s credit business as its general manager, responsible for all facets of the division’s success including strategy, product, compliance sales and operations.

LERETA, California - LERETA announced that Bill Theisinger has joined the executive team as CTO. Prior to LERETA, Theisinger worked at YP.com (The Real Yellow Pages) for five years building big data platforms and the infrastructure to support them.

WSFS Financial Corporation, Delaware - WSFS Financial Corporation announced that Lisa Brubaker is the new EVP and CTO. Ms. Brubaker has held a variety of leadership roles with increasing responsibilities throughout her 31-year WSFS career. She was most recently WSFS Bank’s SVP and Director of Retail Strategy.

2U, Maryland - 2U announced that Sean Fahey will join the company as SVP of data science. Fahey joins 2U from HotChalk where he served as chief data officer and SVP of education analytics.

RetailMeNot, Texas - RetailMeNot promoted Mausam Bhatt, to chief product officer from SVP, product.

dataxu, Massachusetts - dataxu appointed technology industry veteran Benjamin Katz as SVP of Engineering and CIO. Prior to joining dataxu, Katz was the CTO at Cinch Financial and Gazelle and has also held leadership roles at Rue La La, Allurent, Professional Access and ATG, among others.

San Diego County Credit Union, California - Valerie Kwiatkowski has joined San Diego County Credit Union as EVP of IT. Kwiatkowski served most recently on the Quality Engineering Team within Global IT for Apple.

Sandvine, Ontario, Canada - Sandvine announced that Kamakshi Sridhar has joined the company as VP of Automation Innovation. Bringing almost 20 years of experience from a range of technical positions at Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent, and Bell Labs.

Everbridge, Massachusetts - Everbridge announced that Tracy Reinhold has joined the company as Chief Security Officer. Former Chief Security Officer at Fannie Mae.

Bell Techlogix, Indiana - Mr. Dale Dye joins Bell Techlogix as SVP for Digital Workplace Services. Dye has held previous roles leading global operations at both ADP as well as at Unisys prior to joining Bell Techlogix.

QuickBase, Massachusetts - Quick Base appointed George Mashini as CTO. Prior to joining the company, George served as President and CEO of Catavolt.

Clinipace Worldwide, North Carolina - Clinipace Worldwide appointed Charlene Dark as VP, global clinical analytics. Most recently, Dark worked on IQVIA’s Infosario platform. Previously, she led various data management groups in her roles at Omnicare Clinical Research, i3 and PPD.

RepairClinic.com, Michigan - RepairClinic.com announced the hiring of Shailesh Vanani as VP of Software Engineering. Vanani joins the company from ALAS where he was the Senior Director of Application Development.

Chef, Washington - Chef announced the appointments of Corey Scobie to the position of SVP of product and engineering. Prior to joining Chef, Scobie served as VP of Open Platform and Product Experience at Akamai.

Wilson Human Capital Group, Florida - Wilson Human Capital Group welcomed Gary Cook as Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Most recently with IBM’s Watson Talent division.

SITO Mobile, New Jersey - SITO Mobile announced that Gabriel Sandoval has been named Chief Data Protection Officer. Sandoval is an experienced technology legal and business executive, having overseen legal counsel at Oracle, Ariba, and most recently at Deem  where he served as their Chief Legal Officer.

Sangamo Therapeutics, California - Sangamo Therapeutics promoted Michael Holmes, Ph.D. to SVP and CTO. Holmes joined Sangamo in 2001 and has served as VP of Research since 2015.

CVD Equipment Corporation, New York - CVD Equipment Corporation announced that Dr. Max Shatalov has been named to the company’s newly created position of VP of Engineering and Technology. Dr. Shatalov joined Sensor Electronic Technology in 2006, and held multiple technical management positions.

Bill.com, California - Bill.com appointed Vinay Pai as SVP of Engineering. Prior to joining Bill.com, Pai was SVP of Engineering at First Data.

Business Wire, California - Jose Panlilio has joined Business Wire as VP, engineering infrastructure. Panlilio has held management positions with Pixelworks, Sony Computer Entertainment America and Infoblox, among others, during his 15-year IT career.

Bounce Exchange, New York - BounceX announced Yiftah Frechter as CTO. Frechter was formerly VP of Engineering at Undertone and VP of Research and Development at Sizmek (Mediamind).

Chrome River Technologies, California - Chrome River announced that Sunil Kayiti, a financial software technology leader with more than 25 years of industry experience, has joined the company as Chief Technical Officer.

Coinbase, California - Coinbase has appointed Balaji Srinivasan as its CTO. Prior to this appointment, Srinivasan worked for earn.com as its CEO and cofounder.

DNV GL Group AS, Norway - Klas Bendrik will join DNV GL as Chief Digital Transformation Officer to support DNV GL's digitalization and IT strategy. Bendrik joins DNV GL from Gartner.

Modern Times Group, Sweden - Peter Nørrelund named MTG EVP, Head of Product Development and Incubation, and Co-CEO of DreamHack. Nørrelund is currently EVP and CEO of MTG Sport and will continue to be an advisor to the President and CEO of Nordic Entertainment Group after the split.

Voxbone, Belgium - Voxbone has strengthened its mission to support growing enterprises by hiring Matthew Brown as its new VP of Product. Brown has spent the majority of his career at the nexus of telecommunications and FinTech, having most recently led product development for Payfone.

Cxense, Norway - Cxense ASA announced that Ben Graham has been appointed chief product officer of the company. Ben most recently served as VP of Product at Schibsted.

Ltd, Israel - Reuben Halevi rejoined MIND as CTO, bringing over 25 years of a proven track record as an executive, business and technical leader and consultant in the US and Israeli software industry. Exide Industries, India - Eastman Auto & Power has appointed Priyabrata Sarangi as new chief IT officer. Prior to this appointment, Sarangi worked for Exide Industries Ltd. as CIO.

Singapore Press, Singapore - Glen Gary Francis, 43, will be joining as CTO. Prior to joining SPH, he was the Founder and President of CIO Academy Asia. Gaurav Sachdeva, will be joining as CPO. He was most recently the Head of Product for Growth Hacking & Innovation, and Chief-of-Staff for products at Grab and before that, Product Management Leader for Autodesk (Asia).

Dora Vell

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members. Vell has successfully completed numerous board member and C-level executive searches, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, and Vice Presidents - at both public and private companies.

Prior to founding the firm in 2005, Vell was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles' Technology practice for seven years.  Before her career in executive search, she worked at IBM for 11 years, managing software engineering organizations of 100 people and software sales organizations with revenues of $150 million. She has also served as an executive assistant to the CEO of IBM Canada for one year.

Vell holds seven worldwide software patents. She has published several Business of Leadership reports on governance and leadership and has been quoted in numerous articles including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week, Fortune, Agenda Week, MSNBC, Mass High Tech, the OPUS for the World Economic Forum, Boston Business Journal, The Globe & Mail, CIO Magazine, and IEEE.
