NCR Names Frank Martire as Executive Chairman and Michael Hayford as CEO

NCR Corporation has named Frank Martire, 69, as Executive Chairman. Martire most recently served as non-executive chairman of FIS till last year. He served as CEO of FIS after acquisition of Metavante, where he served as CEO before the acquisition.

Former Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti, 54, has been named as Chairman Emeritus. 

Michael D. Hayford, 57, has been appointed as CEO. Hayford was most recently Founding Partner of Motive Partners, an investment firm focused on technology-enabled companies serving the financial services industry. Before that he was EVP & CFO of Fidelity National Information Systems (FIS). He served as President and COO of Metavante Technologies, until its acquisition by FIS in 2009. Prior to that, he served as Metavante’s CIO, CFO, and also led corporate and product development.  He currently serves as an independent Director of Endurance International Group.

Dora Vell

Vell is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Boston CEO Roundtable. She has served on the boards of Framingham State, Entrepreneur's Organization, Goodwill, Mary Centre for developmentally handicapped adults, garage.ca, and RBC Capital Partners.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
