ReachLocal Recruits Online Advertising Veteran as CAO and Promotes Others

ReachLocal, an internet based marketing and advertising services company, selected David Day, 50, to be SVP, Corporate Controller, & CAO. Prior to joining ReachLocal, Day provided financial consulting services to technology and telecommunications companies. He has also served as the VP of Finance for Spot Runner, a technology-based ad agency. Prior to Spot Runner, he served as SVP of Finance for Yahoo! Search Marketing and as SVP of Finance and Corporate Controller for Overture.

Michael Kline, 45, a founding member of ReachLocal, has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Chief Operating Officer. Since 2003, Kline has served as COO and VP of Products at ReachLocal. Before ReachLocal, he was the VP of Product Development at WorldWinner, a Senior Manager for Deloitte’s Media & Entertainment division, and the SVP of Strategy & Product Development for AdStar.com. Prior to AdStar.com, Kline was a Director of Strategic Development at Times Mirror.

Nathan Hanks, 38, has been selected to be ReachLocal's Co-Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer. Hanks was most recently ReachLocal's Chief Distribution Officer and is also one of the co-founders of the company.

Steven Power, 38, is promoted from EVP of Global Sales to Chief Sales Officer.

Alex Hawkinson, 38, has been promoted from General Manager of Digital Presence to Chief Product Officer.

Exec Moves at China-Based Internet Service Provider


ChinaCache International Holdings announced that Jackie You Kazmerzak, 36, has been named CFO of the Company. Kazmerzak joins ChinaCache from China Information Technology where she served as CFO. Prior to this, she served as Head of China Investments for JLF Asset Management. Additionally, she was an Investment Officer at Northern Trust and a Portfolio Manager at Sand Hill Advisors. Kazmerzak succeeds former Financial Controller and CFO Robert Shaw who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

ChinaCache also announced that Wei An, 50, VP of Corporate Communications, has resigned for personal reasons.

Ex-Microsoft GM at iPass


Enterprise
services provider iPass announced the addition of Steve Livingston as SVP of Carrier Development. He was previously the General Manager of Windows Phone’s Strategic Partner Marketing at Microsoft. He has also held key leadership positions at AT&T, mBlox, and ByteMobile.

B2B Company Appoints New Board Member


Rainmaker Systems announced it has appointed Chuck Geiger to its Board of Directors. Geiger is currently CTO at Chegg, a leading textbook rental company. He has previously worked for some of the largest online e-commerce sites in the world, including companies such as PayPal, Ask.com, eBay, Travelocity, and Wine.com.

Online Household Portal Developer Has New CTO


Digagogo Ventures announced that Kenneth Williams has been appointed as its new CTO. Prior to joining Digagogo, he was a Senior Network Engineer with the University of Michigan. Williams' previous work experience includes positions with the US Department of Defense, 20th Century Fox Entertainment, Citibank Financial, ADP Payroll Hosting, Nissan Motor, and SBC Communications.
